XMetaL Developer eases the development of rich applications that use and integrate XMetaL Author Enterprise and XMetaL for ActiveX (aka XMAX). Developers can build everything from value-adding macros and configurations to entire applications and plugins to help users create and manage their content more efficiently from within the authoring packages.
It is built as a plugin to Microsoft's popular Visual Studio line of tools and can work in just about any version of it. Mekon has been working with XMetaL Developer since its release and has both used it to implement solutions for our clients and trained users on how to use it to maintain their own configurations in-house after our job is done.
