CMD as a concept has been part of the Mekon methodology for years. With modern web 2.0 technologies and applications coming to the fore, this concept is even more valid than ever. Now you don’t just create content to push it out as deliverables, more and more workflows need to be collaborate, circular and iterating. Modern businesses are askig for creation to happen at various points – during design, development, documentation, or after sales out in the filed - and delivery in multiple directions, all managed by one or more content centres.
You’ll see the CMD idea on various points on our site, starting with how we categorise software products, but we’ll eventually be rolling it out as a way to view news items, whitepapers, webinars and so on that might focus on some areas more than others.
