Following the success of the 2010 event - with a record attendance of over 3,300 - Publishing Expo 2011 is moving to a bigger, more modern venue better befitting the innovative and fast moving UK publishing industry. As part of this, Publishing Expo is joining forces with Congility, formerly known as X-Pubs and run by Mekon to deliver the Content Agility seminar theatre bringing a new dimension to Publishing Expo to educate and inform visitors of publishing in the future.
Traditional publishers have long since been focused on the final product ending up on paper. More recently the demand for eBooks and eZines are forcing publishers to publish to multiple channels which to date involves PDF conversion and rudimentary page turners. XML is a standard that can be used to mark up content making it possible to re purpose your publications in many more ways than was ever thought possible in the past.
