DITA Europe is a forum for those using or researching the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standard.

Our Managing Director, Julian Murfitt, was selected to deliver the keynote speech for DITA Europe 2007 conference in Brussels, Belgium.

We also sponsored DITA Europe 2007, as it was an excellent place for organisations to meet experts fromaround Europe to learn about DITA and the latest technologicaldevelopments in DITA 1.1. “To some, DITA's growth and development arebeing seen as a North American phenomena. Mekon has been championing the use of the DITA standard in the UK andhas contributed towards the DITA Open ToolKit by developing apublishing adaptor which allows users of Adobe FrameMaker to utilise the tools powerful pagination engine as part of their XML publishing systems.
